Safety before programme
Any operative can stop work without needing permission and without consequence. Our accident frequency rate is 0.21 per 100,000 hours against an industry average of 0.44.
DDA started as a two-person partitioning outfit working out of a van in Manchester. Six years on our core team has grown to 50 and we turn over £1.2m — but the way we vet a subcontractor hasn't changed much.
DDA Building Ltd is dedicated exclusively to the supply of skilled drylining operatives.
Our workforce has contributed to residential, commercial, healthcare, education, hospitality, high-rise and data centre developments, supporting contractors on projects where quality, reliability and productivity are essential.
Every operative we provide has extensive industry experience, including many years working within the UK construction sector. Each worker holds the relevant qualifications and site certifications required for their role, ensuring full compliance with current industry standards.
Rather than simply supplying labour, we carefully assess every client's requirements and select operatives whose skills and experience best match each project. This approach allows our clients to receive productive, dependable professionals from day one.
From individual operatives to teams of up to twenty specialists, DDA Building Ltd delivers flexible workforce solutions tailored to your programme.
Working under the CIS scheme and protected by comprehensive Employers' Liability and Public Liability Insurance, renewed annually, we remain committed to the highest standards of safety, professionalism and service.
Founded as DDA Partitioning Ltd with two staff and one van of stud and track.
First direct-appoint drylining contract — Brackenfield Primary School extension, £28k.
Largest single package to date: £260k drylining and fire-rated corridor package on a hotel refurbishment, delivered ahead of schedule.
Employee ownership trust established, holding 15% of shares on behalf of staff.

We would rather lose a quote than win it on an estimate we know will need a variation in month two. Our average change-order value is 2.6% of package value.
Every subcontractor on our roster is reference-checked, card-verified and works-tested before their first placement. We fund 2 apprenticeships a year through our core team and hold a 91% retention rate across our subcontractor network at three years.
89% of board and stud offcuts diverted from landfill, and every package carries a local labour commitment agreed at contract award.
Directors are assigned to contracts, not just to the pitch. The person who quotes the package attends your progress meetings.
